New Boxer mommie Chicago,,Help!

Leah is a 13 weeks female, She is our first boxer.
We are soooo in love with our pup.

We just crop her ears after some much debate,
I feel so horrible, she is good except for the fact
that she neds to get this crown out of her head,
so she scratch, I don't know what to do! I feel so helpless
looking at her. She does not have any bandages yet, maybe
the doctor will do on Monday.

How long does it takes to heal?

One thing is for sure, if I get another Boxer will keep
his floppy hears!

if im not mistaken they will take off the stiches after 2 weeks... do you have the e-collar that would prevent your puppy from actually scratching the ear... the taping process will then begin and the amount of time you will have to do retaping the ear depends on the puppy's ear cartilage, atleast that what i was told... some people who are lucky enough will only have to do maybe 1 month of retaping but some still retape until a year... Nitro's ear went to about 4 retaping... the first month it stood perfectly but that only lasted for few days... now it's about 2 months when he had his ears cropped and it look great now except for the tip that sometimes curve to the inside especially when he just woke up... got some pic in my gallery you can check it out if you want...

anyway for those people who got cropped ears on their boxer i got a question... doea you boxers ear keep on standing even if they just woke up??? i been noticing that Nitro's ear got a tendency to flopped a little after waking up then after few minutes it will stand up again... im thinking he just slept on it that's why it flopped back but im not sure...
