New Boxer Mom (almost!!)

My husband and I are the proud new owners of an adorable male fawn boxer puppy, Tucker. He's only a few weeks old right now, so we still have a few to wait before we actually get him. I tell you it's gotta be the longest wait of my life! I've wanted a boxer for about 5 years now and I finally convinced my husband that the time was right. I think he's more excited than I am at this point.

I originally thought I'd just log on as a guest to get some advice about crate training, housebreaking, etc., but after reading some of these posts I decided I needed to join this amazing group of boxer lovers!! I think it's wonderful to have a place like this to go to when you have questions or problems, especially since this is the first boxer we've ever owned.

I look forward to years of enjoyment from my new puppy and can't wait for his arrival!!

Welcome to the wonderfull world of owning a Boxer! I am sure you will enjoy his company tremendously and will want to take him everywhere with you! When is Tucker coming home? I can just imagine how long the wait will seem!

We have 3 more weeks to go. We lucked out with the breeder though. She'll let us come and visit as often as we are able.

Hi tucker mom,
You will ask yourself later way you ever waited so long. they are the best. I just love them. They are just like kids they can't get enough love.They are full of love,laughter,once you have one you'll want more.Even if they were bad its hard to scolled them,them eye and that face.This site is great and very helpful, lots of great people,I just love it.We are'nt that far away I live in Belleville MI. Well good luck and I hope you get him soon.
