New Boxer Boy Maximus is Here!

My husband and I were wanting and waiting to get a boxer FOREVER! We weren't allowed to have pets where we lived, Well, they just changed the rules, SO....We got our flashy fawn boy Maximus a week and a half ago! He is now a 11 weeks old, and TROUBLE. LOL They say its lilke getting a new human baby in the house, and they weren't kidding! We are just trying to do our best and give it our all just like we have done raising our (human)daughter, who is now 3. So yes, we have a 3-yr old and a VERY rambunctious puppy, already in cahoots together, pretty close to best friends already! I will be posting some pics and asking some advice too~ We have alot of questions, and I have seen already from the forums that our little guy has alot of the same tendencies as some other boxers out there! (excessive drooling, etc) 8)

A warm welcome from Oregon from Deeg and I Deeg does not want me to tell you this but he was a handful also. However, he is doing much better now. I am glad you sign up on BW and am looking forward to your pictures.

Congratulations on your new baby. We have a Max. He's Maxwell not Maximus though. We almost named him Maximus. You are in for a real treat. You just never know how much you can love a dog until you have one of your own. Especially, boxers, they are such characters. My two are chasing each other through the house right now.

I have a 10 week old flashy fawn girl, a 2 year old skin child and a 5 year old skin child, so I know EXACTLY what is going on at your house right now!! It is so enjoyable. The kids love Bella and she definitely returns it to them. It is rough at times, but the cute, fun times sure make up for it!! You will enjoy this site....answered all of my questions!
