Hi, I just wanted to introduce the newest addition to our family. My BF and I finally decided we were ready for another boxer and were going to rescue, in the end he surprised me with a 10 week old flashy fawn puppy named Jasmine!! She is quite the little whippersnapper and is getting along great with her Brother Oscar. I haven't posted any pictures yet, but just thought I would introduce her. It's been a whilel since I have had a puppy (Oscar is now 3) and I've never had two dogs, I am extremely excited but at the same time afraid to make Oscar upset or grumpy due to the new baby. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Oscar has taken to her very well and we try to give them equal amount of time, of course, but any precautions or any experiences that you all may have had, would help me in how to work with it if anything was to occur. Thanks for listening! Paula

Welcome home little Jasmine! :) I myself only have one, so I can't offer any advice. But I can offer my congrats on your new addition. Let us know when the pictures are up! ;)

Yeah, I just added our third! A little white boy, he'll be seven weeks Friday. I think Micah and Shayna are as happy as we are. Although I didnt think so at first. It will all come together. They'll be the best of friends. Good luck!

Congratulations! Even though I have no experience with introducing a small puppy to an older dog, from what I've read here in these forums is that most dogs adapt to a young puppy fairly well and vice versa. Just give Oscar lots of attention, so he doesn't feel left out, as I'm sure you will!
