New Addition? (long)

Everyone cross your fingers for us. fiesta1ico I applied this morning with Rockin P Rescue here in Alabama. We are hoping to add Big Al to our family. He is a beautiful 2 yo male. I fell in love with his picture. lovicon Hopefully we will be approved and we can go meet him. I really want to go the rescue route this time. I just hate the fact that so many of our beloved boxers are in rescue to start with. I got Toni from a BYB (didn't know better at the time) and do not want to further encourage that behavior. If we can get him I want to change his name to Aubie Tiger. :eek: I so hope we can. Toni will love a big brother to play with and his face looks so kissable. You can see him at www.rockinprescue.org. Click on available dogs and scroll down to the fourth dog. I really like Elvis too but he does not like cats and would prefer to be an only dog. The girls on the site are georgeous but everyone pretty well advises against two females so I only paid attention to the boys. Big Al just looks right. I can't wait to hear back but know I must be patient. (I hate being patient!) :( I'll keep everyone updated.

What a handsome boy Al is! I got chills looking at that site though, cause the boxer "Katie" looks almost exactly like my katie and the same age too! how scary is that! :eek:

I so much would love to give poor old drake a home, he looks like such a wonderful old man :( too bad i am 1200 miles away! although, my poor katie is only 4 and she would drive him nuts quickly!

Hey remember that Rockin' P is having a bash sometime in september. i was gonna go, but my work didnt meet the deadline on some equip. so the test is postponed indefinitely. so no AL until X-mas
