Never seen this before

My 2 year old Molly has uncropped ears, the other day when I was checking her over I noticed she had scabs on the under side of her ear. The thing is that they are not from scratching, they are more like sores, the only time I have seen anything like this was when my old Bullmastiff used to get "hotspots" on his coat.

Any one seen this before?

My sisters boxer has a spot on one of her ears (on the edge) that is constantly breakng open and healing again. It looks like a small sore. Her vet gave her some ointment for it, but it never really goes away.

Fungus

Sebastian getsfungus on his ears, especially at the tips from the water at the dog park. We got some lotrimin for athlete's foot and it cleared them up right away. His 'scabs' were not bloody, just crusty. Hope that helps!
