Hahahahahaha i knew it!!!!

They were my vets since Frankie was born and over the years the care has gradually declined. Too many cooks spoil the broth!

From over-charging, over booking- waiting over an hour for an appointment which i made 3 days earlier, charing €100 call out fee after hours before any meds had been given, Very poor after care advice and help when Frankie was spayed and the worst of the lot is misdiagnosis-twice!! Also i always felt i wasnt being listened to and i was being pushed out the door on every visit.

I now go to another 'old school' vet who listens to you and has the nicest vet nurse in the world!

I agree she shouldn't be in that much pain. I have fostered quite a few dogs right after the spay procedure and besides being loopy from the anesthesia they don't seem to be that uncomfortable. Most have seemed back to normal within 24hrs. If she isn't feeling better very soon I'd get a second opinion.

Just got back from the vets. It has turned out that she has had a reaction to the stitches. The site was cleaned and she was given an injection for the pain. He also gave her Anxicalm tabs to calm her down, poor thing was very distressed.
Vet said that she would sleep for the rest of the day but she is still up an alert.
Back to vets tomorrow for a check up.
Thanks for all your advice.

Very tired owner and a very spaced out Juno!!

In the past, I had a small dog fixed and hers bothered her too. I would rub numbing medication on the incisions, like orajel or something, and that seemed to help her.

Back at vets today for a checkup. She is getting alot better and slept from 7pm till 7am this morning. Poor thing was wrecked. She can now lie on her front and is alot happier but in the vets today she was very distressed vet prescribed more meds for agitation. When I got her home she was fine.
Not going to give it to her untill she goes back monday for removal of the stitches.
Thanks for all the advice.
