Neutering Question

I was just wondering if there was an age limit to a dog getting neutered? I know most people get there dogs done when they are much younger...my baby is 7yrs. old....is it too late for him to get neutered????

Personally I don't think it's ever to late! I think it would be a good idea. I would first make sure your boy is in good health and speak to your vet about it. Doing it now may prevent any health matters that might come up.

I`m not sure if I read it here but I did hear of a woman neutering her Boxer at the age of 8. I know rescue groups have it done no matter what the age as long as the dog is in good health. My oldest boys are turning 4 and 5 within the next few months so they too will soon be altered.

If your vet thinks you Boxers heart is good and strong and over all he is in very good condition, they probably want think age is an issue.
