Neutering question

I got the boys neutered,and Scooby is looking a little swollen today.should I get him back in to see the vet or is a little swelling normal?I've never owned any males until I got these guys so I'm a little lost on the neutering thing.he was neutered 5 days ago by thew way.It's been real hard to keep him calm,and I'm afraid I've allowed him to do too much

If the swelling has increased, then it's probably a good idea to let a vet take a look. It may be nothing but a bit of extra fluid, but it's better to be on the safe side I think.

Luka swelled up a lot the day after his neuter but every day after that it slowly went down, he is just over 2 weeks post op and he is all healed up nicely

when I had Cooper neutered he was a little swollen the first 2 days. I also had gotten some pills from the vet to help him stay calm. cause he was sorta his old self and I was trying to make him not do much. the pills that the vet gave me basically made him a little sleepy and he slept for most of the day. I wish I could remember the name of the stuff they gave me, but I'd call the vet and ask them about it if you are concerned about him being too active. Thats what i did cause I didn't want him opening up his stitches.

Thanks everybody! He went to the vet today & is looking like he should. I do appreciate the support though,sometimes it's great to have ya'll here...and by the way Sunny is deaf so I think instead of adopting him out DH and I will keep him.Hopefully I'll get the time to get some pics of the new puppies posted along with updated pics of the 3 you've all seen later tonight.
