Neopolitan mastiffs?

Anyone know anything about Neopolitan mastiffs? or any good websites or books about them? My brother and his girlfriend got one for Christmas (unfortunatly from a pet store). I have been trying to find some more information about her for them, but haven't had a lot of luck. She's adorable, but is going to be very large. She's only three months old and almost the size of Cortes who is 9 months.

They are BIG dogs--she will probably be about 110 pounds (maybe bigger!) when she is fully grown.

They are big saggy faced dogs, but cute. I don't even want to know how much they paid for that pup. :eek:

Thanks for the links -- I was looking for those and couldn't find them when I did a google search. She is enormous and she's only 3 months old. I'm just hoping that she doesn't have a lot of health problems since they got her from a petstore.
She is absolutly adorable though and very good natured. She actually plays like a boxer and Cortes loves it. She doesn't get mad when he boxes and will box right back.

oh oh oh i was watching harry potter this morning and Hagrids dog Fang is a Neopolitan Mastiff i believe.... what a drool machine!

Very cute but also VERY BIG doggies. These dogs along with a few other breeds like English Mastiffs and Saint Bernards are normally steady droolers, keep some slobber towels handy. I wish them well with their pup, hopefully he'll be a wonderful healthy dog.
