I sure hope that you got the baby. I would be afraid of what the daughter would do with the dog (if she did not want it with her in the first place). It would most likely be just as bad off as it was at the dads house. Please keep us posted and if you have the baby please give it a hug from me!

I'm on the edge of my seat to find out what happens! My bf thinks that you should have just taken the dog and not left any information. The poor poor girl! I pray that she was still there this morning so she'll have a whole new happy life to look forward to.

Sorry I took so long for an update. Someone was at home last night...all night. This morning Lexus was not outside. So I am assuming the daughter took her or he came home and left her inside.
I was kicking myself last night for calling the daughter. I should have just went and got her. But I was also afraid since Lexus is supposedly not good with other females. I could never forgive myself if she attacked Bayleigh.
Believe me, I will be keeping an eye out to see if she is still there. I will not hesitate to call Animal Control again if I think she is being neglected. At least all my phone calls yesterday were documented so it shouldn't take much to get her out of there if needed.
DH was not wanting her to take her in before. After he got home from work and I was telling him all the stuff that went on, he said he would have understood if I brought her home but he was also worried about 2 females. Maybe I am finally softening him up for another baby!
I cannot thank you guys enough for your advice and support! My 14 year old daughter was reading the posts last night and she was amazed that they are other people out there just as obessesed with their babies as I am! She thought it was great!
