Need Vibes for Lucy

Last Friday, I came home from work to find my girl's face swollen, with no apparent injury. Went to the vet, they gave her a shot, the swelling went down. But now she is not herself, drinks water constantly, doesn't want to play at all! Thats not my girl. I'm at work waiting for the vet to return my call.
I've read about diabetes, etc., and I'm sitting here scared to death as to whats wrong with her ( I could actually cry right now!). I've spoiled her rotten, she's had her share of treats, so I feel if it is diabetes, its my fault! She is my BABY! The vet closes at 6:00, I don't get off work until 5, I'm in a situation, I can't get off early. I am just sick with worry. Any vibes for my girl would be apreciated! Lucy means THE absolute WORLD to me, as I'm sure all boxer owners feel.

Sending you some healing vibes. I hope Lucy is ok. I know it's hard not to worry. We all try to do our best for our babies so don't blame yourself for anything.

Same with Harley, he loves chasing bees and I'm guessing one stung him, because he swelled like a balloon. He was very depressed... I can't remember if he drank a lot of water or not, but the swelling was mostly down by morning

I hope all it is is something simple. Good luck, Lucy!

I hope Lucy is okay!! Guinness is sending lots of puppy healing vibes to her! The weekend is coming up soon, hopefully she'll be back to herself by then.

Question about her shot?

TammyG, so sorry that Lucy is not feeling herself right now. Was her shot a steroid shot or an antihistamine shot? If it was steroids it could be the side effects, and they will go away. Just a thought.
