It's good you have found the lump while it's very small. Please don't panic until you know for sure, or Cody will feel your mood and will be depressed too. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you and wishing you best of luck.

Hello, I said a prayer for your baby.. I know the feeling.. I have two Boxers one is 10 and one is 8.. As you know Boxers are prone to have lumps and tumors.. It is more than likely not cancerous.. My white Boxer had a tumor that was really big removed when she was 8 and she lived to be almost 14.. I hope this bit of information helps you and if I can support you in any way please let me know..This is my first attempt to post anything and am not sure how it works..

Hi Cody and your family, I have a 8 year old boxer that has had B cell cancer since he has been 10 months old. We found the first lump on his side also. Since that first surgery he has had 12 more. He is my best friend and full of love and spunk. Dont give up hope even if it comes back cancer. Find a really good vet and keep a close eye on him and you can love him for a long time. I will pray that you don't have to go through what we have, but if you do know that your not alone. Prayer being sent your way
