Boxer Booster
We have been monitoring Molly (6yrs old) for the last 3 weeks since the heat has hit, she has slowly been going off her food unless you sit & feed her by hand, at first I thought she was getting fussy but then I noteiced she was staring to stiffen up a bit in the back legs, any way she has lost about 10% in 3 weeks so I had a vets appt for bloodwork tomorrow, this afternoon I came home & she could hardly walk so we were straight off to the vets. A full once over & inside her rear right hind leg she has a large swelling, there is no bruising just this large mound.. The vets have taken bloodwork & done aspirations x 5 for smears now the first three aspirations were clear fluid, which the vet advised she wasnt expecting but not to get worried the last two drew cells. We have to wait for Friday morning to get the results, I have myself convinced it is cancer & am in tears but the vet keeps saying dont think the worst it may very well not be cancer. The thing is that she is other wise her happy, loving self, she is just getting skinnier (looks awful but she wont eat much more than 500gms of barf at any one feed. She has no abnormal temps, her gums are pink & her eyes are clear.. but still I am stressing..... send me all your vibes guys PUHLEASE i dont think i could handle loosing two babies in one year.
