Vet will not give us meds because as soon as she eats she runs and we can not find her. and then she would sleep out in cold with no protection.
We have found the owner of her and he said he gave her away. We are trying to get him to call her for us he now has a rotty pup and no longer wants her. We now know her name it is misty so I am hoping that by call her name she might come to me. She is very good at hideing and we can not find her for hours. So meds would not work if you can not find her.
With any luck the ower will help us!!

Completely Boxer Crazy
We have dealt with this before---try calling your animal control and get a trap--this is the only thing that worked for us. Put some meat in there and get out of there....come back and hide a bit later and watch. We had one that out smarted us for 4 months!!!!! Good luck....

My animal control officer does not have a large trap. So that option is out. We are going to try to sit back and watch her for right now and get to know her paths and times of day and net her this weekend. she is a very smart boxer she does not put herself in a situation were she only has one way out.
Even knowing her name has not helped she has now started to cross a very busy four lane road. She is having fun playing catch me if you can. And she is very fast. So that game has to stop. I have had to go in a different car every other time because she has learn to spot my car and run a different way. I hope this does not go on for 4 months.

Ex owner did not help and yes we caught her today. We had found a have a heart trap large enough for her and put hot dogs inside. and she toke the batt I have her in my home as I type she is getting along with Capone were well and for a dog that would not come to us for a week and a half. She is very loving.
We had to take her out to the park just now to have her picture taken for the newpaper . Because so many people have been tring to catch her.The hole town want to know about her. She is famous. Thank you all for you help.

She may be staying with us still not sure yet It has been a very long 2 weeks trying to catch her. Right now she is sick . Because she has been out doors sence oct 12 is when she came up missing. she is going to have a cold she had what sounded like a asthma atack this am I know she is going to get a cold.
She is very hot in the house. She has a large tumor on her back left leg. And a very nice man that has been hepling us with her is going to pay all her vet bills. She is getting along very well with my cats. My boys nose is alittle out of joint right now. but it is start to get better.
She is on the front page of the newpaper this am.
