Remember what Mom told you, there are no stupid questions! Signs of allergy(ies) can be:

- diarrhea

- scratching

- hives, rashes

- vomiting

- increase in shedding

- itchy ears, face, head and feet

- increased flatulence (gas)

- itchy/gunky ears

- increase in tears/eye boogers

These are some of the things in dog food that can trigger an allergic response:

- soy

- corn

- wheat

- beef, pork, chicken, lamb

- fat

- artificial preservatives

- beet pulp

- digest (can be listed as chicken digest, fish digest, etc - chemical processes are used to render this ingredient into a form that makes it "edible" - one of the ways to do it is to use something that's similar to antifreeze!!!!)

What's in the food that you were using before the diarrhea began?

the diarhhea can also be caused by food that is to rich. My dog's system can only handle sensitive stomach food. I gave him California Natural, which is just chicken, rice, and sunflower oil and that gave him diarhhea. He eats Science diet sensitive stomach with no diarhhea.
