I have a 2 year old boxer and yesterday and today while sleeping she has peed...not a huge amount but enough to wet the couch...and her bed. She has never done this before and I am really worried. Has anyone ever experienced this or heard of this happening before? I would really appreciate any responses and information that anyone could give.

Im not a vet but...

I would say first try not to stress, then look for other symptoms of anything being wrong. If you have any doubts take her to your vet but most of all try to not stress. I dont know maybe she had a really exciting dream?? When we first moved peanut ran into our new house and was so excited she let a lil bit of pee go and she dont have accidents. but anyway best of luck and happy mothers day..

I agree do not stress. She could of had an exciting dream. Is she on any medication. One of my boxers was on medication that made him to go the bathroom alot so he would sometimes pee in his sleep. If it continues to happen all the time see a vet. But if it happened only couple of times it could of been just an accident.

..this can be a tell tale sign of a urinary tract infection...which is quite common. If it continues for more than a day or two,let the vet check her. Meds will clear it up.

This happened to Sascha once. I would agree with the others that if it is just these two incidents, then it is nothing to worry about, but if it continues to happen, I would get her to a vet to check for UI issues.

This has happened to us also

Our dog Honey was sleeping in bed with me once and peed all over me and the bed while she was asleep. She sometimes leaks on her dog bed when she is in a deep sleep or dreaming also. I agree with everyone else. I heard its common with boxers.
