Need help finding a Boxer Rescue in Illinois!

Hello,

I volunteer for Pug rescue in illinois but love all fur babies and will try to help any animal in need. Last night my next door neighbor told me of a guy he works with trying to get rid of his 12 month old English male Boxer. I am told he is all white with one eye that has a black patch. The owner says that he is up to date with shots, has his pure bred papers and that he is still intact. He is ready to give him to anyone that will take him. Knowing that he could easily get into the wrong hands I was hoping to find a rescue that will give him a better chance of finding a forever home. I do not know if anyone in this forum could help but thought someone may be able to help me find a rescue in or around the Joliet Illinois area. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. It is in Ringwood,Illinois which is right next to McHenry. I think it would be about 1- 1 1/2 hrs from you. This is where I got Sapphire and they are great people to deal with. If they will take him and no one will bring him up there I would consider doing it. You can pm me to let me know.

I'm in Joliet!

While I don't think I'd be able to foster, I could definetely help get him to Ringwood! I need to make a trip up there soon anyway,to drop off the donations I've been collecting! If they have room for him...I'll surely help out! Like I said, I'd keep him until we could find an adopter...but I still have my foster lab puppy who's gotta go first. My husband is ready to strangle Maggie (she's going through some teenage issues) and the puppy has sort of over stayed her welcome! ANYWHOOO...if I can be of help, let me know!
