Update

I picked Helga up yesterday at 3pm the surgery went fine. The vet is sending her tumor off for a biopsy so we can know exactly what it is and what caused it etc.. I hoping that it won't grow back! She had a hard night she is use to sleeping with my daughter but with her incisions leaking slightly (vet said that is normal and will stop) I didn't let her so she cried almost all night from being in the cage and having the cone on her neck. She does not like the cone. She drank water and ate a bit this morning. She also went out to go potty and did just fine. So now we need to wait for the biopsy results. I can not wait for this to be over with!!! Thank you for all the positive vibes!!! Keeping my fingers, toes, legs etc.. crossed that the biopsy will come back fine.

So glad to hear that the surgery went well and it sounds like Helga is recovering well. Will keep everything crossed for good results. I know what it's like waiting for path. results...so scary. Please keep us posted.

I will keep everyone posted on the pathology report. The vet told me it will take 7 -10 days to get the results back. I'm sure this will be a long 7-10 days for me. I do appreciate all the positive vibes for they are needed!!!

I'm hoping your pathology reports come back okay, but I am glad she's feeling better after her surgery. Give her lots of hugs from me, Roxy, Ruckus, & Bosco!

You might try her without the cone and see if she leaves the incisions alone -at least when you can watch her.

Tho I had got one in case, we never needed a cone for Kona, luckily. :)
