What are your experiences with Innova Pet dog food? It seems to score really well on most review sites and I like that it has a very small ingredient list of natureal and 100% grain free. It is also avalible at several locations near my work and home making for quick/easy access to supply. I was looking to feed my puppy, Taste of the Wild, but with the recall going on I thought I would look for something else.

I will have to transition her off of the PurinaONE/FreshPet Select that the breeder has been feeding for the first 8 weeks. From what I can tell, PurinaONE is pretty poor quality; however, the FreshPet Select isn't too bad. I will leave her on that diet for the first week to let her get used to her new environment first and then start to slowly move her to a better quality food.

Also, is dry food only a good thing for the puppy... or should I be incorporate some wet/soft foods too?

We switched George to innova large breed puppy about a month or two ago. He loves it and it solved our runny poop problem we got with blue buffalo. We only use the large breed puppy formula because it has less crude protein and the higher levels in BB we upsetting his tummy.

Also the large bred puppy from innova is a pretty big kibble which forces George to eat slowly which is also helping the upset tummy.
