the tail is a lethal weapon!
it's even scratched the cornea of our other Boxer......TWICE.
now she closes her eyes anytime she is standing behind him.
nope......can't be trained out!
maybe we should put weights on the end of their tails to hold them down! <<<KIDDING>>>

I sort of know how you feel. When we went to pick Indie up as an 8 week old, the mother to the other litter had a full tail, and man-alive it hurt when we were in the firing line! Indie has a docked tail, she is fine it that. The breeder mention how having a tail can sometime led to no good for them, as they make them bleed and in some cases break them (painful). The only thing advise I can give is wrap it in bubble wrap, when they hit, it won't hurt and then the other 50% of their time will be spent on trying to take it off! haha just a thought.
