We have left Madison's ears natural. She is turning 19 weeks old this Tuesday. For the last few days or so her right ear is kinda folding over across her forehead. Is this supposed to happen?? Will it return to normal?? We don't know what to do, should we have taped her natural ears? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

One of Henry's ears(natural) will fold across his head at times. He is not a show dog though and we think of it as cute and just part of who is he is :)

It is common for the ears to go awry during teething. And it isn't too late by any means to tape them if you want to. Most natural ears don't require taping, but if they're starting to fly badly, or he has very strong cartilage, then you might want to give it a go. You could also massage them daily to help them lie correctly. Lots of info and advice available by searching ;)

Thanks for the info

I will do some searching on taping natural ears and massaging. I just thought if we left them natural that we wouldn't have to do anything with them... Wish me luck... I don't think she will be into either but I'll give it a try!
