I wouldn't give a boxer a large breed food as they really are a medium breed, what do others think? I could be worng. You can go to this site and get info:

I would recommend this website as it has some useful information on dog food and some of the manufacturers hype. I believe it is very unbiased.

I also feed my girl Solid Gold dry and wellness wet and would not give her anything else.
When I got her she had been on Natural Choice Puppy and on her first vet visit I was told she was undernurished and not digesting her food well and that Natural Choice was not the food for my dog. Now that doesn't mean it is not a great food maybe it is I don't pay much attention to it I tend to lean towards the more natural food not the supermarket foods.

I think the Natural Choice Ultra looks OK. I wouldn't rate the other Nutros particularly highly, but this one is much better :) It recently made the Whole Dog Journal's list of quality foods too.

From the ingredient list, it isn't the best food I've ever seen - but it still looks pretty good... 2 named meat protein sources in the top 5 ingredients, no carcinogenic preservatives, and no wheat or corn products :) It does have beet pulp, which is a minus, and quite a lot of rice (I notice they've snuck ground rice in separately from the brown rice that's the #2 ingredient ;) ) but overall, I think it looks pretty good. A decided improvement over their other ranges :)
