I live in south Nashville close to Antoch and would love to have a boxer bash or even a small get together with anyone in TN. My baby is 13 weeks old and the closest friends he has is in Lafeyette (1 1/2 hour away) and only one boxer in Murfreesboro. I would love to socialize him some more he just love to play!!

Jane, Tim, and Tugga:)

Someone organize it!

Our schedules are so slammed. We'd love to be the ones to schedule it, but we just don't have time to work on it. Let us know when and we'll try to be there!

hey - i don't mind doing one, i was thiking the first of march would be good - that way all the holidays are over and it is not so cold - i went through here and did an inventory on all the TN boxer owners i could find and will PM everyone sometime in jan probably, so we can start things rolling then. my only problem is i don't know of any dog parks - i have heard people talk about a "percy warner dog park" in nashville, so u nashvillians will have to check that out for us and make sure it is a good safe place with fences all a round :) i will go ahead and share what i was thinking we could do: i was focusing on a saturday(since most people work during the week and sundays are no good for us-my husband is a minister, so there is no such thing as a sunday off :)
i was also thinking maybe a picnic for everybody and then you know just playtime for all the furbabies :) if anyone else has any ideas just let me know in between now and then. if someone wants to try to do one earlier than that, it would be great too, i just figured after the holidays and cold weather dispears would be better. let me know what you all think.

March sounds great. I just found a dog park in Franklin, TN. It's called Maggie's Bark Park. The hours are dawn to dusk. It has agility equipment, quarter mile walking trail with park benches, and 90 x 200 fenced off-leash area. It sounds great but I'm gonna go see it for myself this weekend. I'll post the outcome afterwards. Also I'm on a mailing list with people that are trying to start another dog park up right in Nashville. I'll post on any updates I get with that lead as well. I'm really looking forward to meeting other boxer owners in the area. :D :D

We're from Hermitage, TN. We went to Maggie's a couple weeks ago & Athena absolutely ate it up! We live in apartment complex so there aren't a lot of dogs around her size & age. We were there for about 4 hours. I didn't even see the walking track. We just went in the fenced in play area. I would be very interested in a meet up w/ the rest of the Middle TN boxer owners!! Just let me know when ;) (when it's warmer)

Ya, you're a hop-skip-and a jump away from us! Maybe sometime we'll have to set up a playdate for our fur babies. Athena is 6mos. She's not spayed yet, as we're waiting until after her 1st heat.

You guys are only about 10 or 15 minutes away from me and Tugga is always eager for play dates. He is 15 weeks old now.

Boxer Bash YEA!!!!!!

I live about 20 minutes south of Knoxville and would love to participate in a Boxer Bash in the Nashville area. Joe is always on the make for someone to play with at the park, and we would both enjoy getting together with other boxer lovers. Just let us know when and count us in!
