Boxer Pal
Hi Everyone!
I decided a few weeks ago that I was going to learn how to clip my dog's nails since we will soon be adding a new puppy to the family and it would be cheaper if I did it myself.
I did very well my first time and even better the second time but her nails are still very sharp for a few days after. After clipping them, I'm filing them down but it doesn't seem to help.
Is there a certain way I should hold her or a certain direction to clip the nails? I like to do all of my own grooming since my dog is short haired (and the new boxer is too) and this is the only thing I seem to be having trouble with.
Thanks for helping!
Brandi
