Ivy has this too. She went to the vet the yesterday and I asked about it. She said that it is a bacterial/yeast infection. She gave me a special shampoo and told me to wash her feet every day for a week and to use a soft toothbrush around the nail bed. She said its hard to get rid of... she also said that its itchy and painful. It does not seem to bother Ivy at all though. However when I washed her feet yesterday, it did seem tender around the nail bed - and i was vvery gentle. Could be painful, could be that i have never gotten that close to her nail bed before and it was new to her.
