My sister-in-law has a female white boxer. She is 3 yrs old.

In the spring she had these bumps on her skin then they went away.

They came back around June this last summer. The bumps are around the head, face, legs and sometimes all over her body. They are a red color and maybe a light pink. Her eye gets infected by it also not all the time but most of the time. Sometimes she seems like she is weak from it and other times not. The symptom's comes and goes, they will appear and disappear. Sometimes heavy at night and sometimes in the morning.

We don't know what to do, we have washed her bedding and eliminated any possibilities of food allergies. It comes and goes so quickly, that we think its some sort of allergic reaction, but not sure.

Can anyone help us with this or any advise.

We are very low on funds and can't afford a vet. visit.

Thank You

If you are sure it's not a food allergy, it could be a myriad of possible contact allergies. The only way to know from what would be to do an allergy test with your vet.

But until you are able to do that, you may want to bathe her in oatmeal shampoo or perhaps try a Benadryl if she is very uncomfortable. Do a search on Benadryl and you'll find info about how much, etc. However, I personally would not recommend doing this long-term.

If you find out what the allergen(s) is, you can eliminate it and get rid of the problem altogether.

Throwing Up

Also I forgot to mention she has been throwing up. She usually does it when she is flaring up with the bumps and late night. The throw up is mostly acid and water.
