we have had cookie about 6 months and joe about 2 months now. coolie was 100 bucks, and joe was a 35 dollar donation. Cookie has cost about 1500 in her vet bills for skin and joe is well a boxer pup. all in all they are great kids.
Thnaks i like them. Joe looks happy at all times and cookie looks depressed. Cookie was beaten and left outside buy her previous ownerso she has hair los on her tail nub and elbows, she is real skiddish around people she doesnt know. i was putting a belt on one time and i guess she thought it was to hit her cause she sqautted down and peed all over herself. but no she is a princess in this house though. Joe on the other hand was a one human dog in an apartment and the woman who had him had to turn him over to the humane society because she lost everything during hurricane ivan, sad but her loss is my gasin cause he is wonderful palyful little boxer baby. They are both my kids and they are spoiled as such.
It always hurts me to think that people can beat and mistreat animals that are so innocent. They did not ask to be here, and they only require us to love feed them. That should not be a hard task. However, people that mistreat animals probably do not love themselves, so how could they love anything else. I am so glad that you have your princess and Jo. It sounds like you have enough love to go around for both of them.
Cookie and Joe really made my day; they are both very beautiful boxers. I am glad you are giving each of them a chance to experience what a true forever home feels like. I cannot imagine the fearful life style Cookie lived; it must have been horrible for her heart to not know how it feels to feel love from a person. I am going to start crying if I don't quit writing this post now. Thanks for sharing them with us.
