my two boxers ate something bad

the other day my two boxers got a hold of one of my chew cans. i can't remember how much was in it but all that was left was the top. i just wanted to know if i should worry or not. if anyone can help me with this would be nice.


they don't seem to be bothered by it, but i just don't want them to get hurt.

I had a similar thing happen with a pack of cigarettes. Don't know how Mya got them because they were out of reach even for her, but still when I went outside they were shredded all over the back yard. I found all the filters but not all of the rest of the cigarettes. that was weeks ago and Mya wasn't phased at all, but it won't happen again. I don't need a boxer with a bad attitude because she needs a smoke

It depends on how much tobacco they ate and how big they are. When Scrapper was a puppy, he chewed up one of my hubby's cigars and ate about half of it. The ER vet was very concerned because of his size and because tobacco can be poisonous. We had to take him to be "purged" with charcoal, of course, it's always on a weekend so you have to pay the ER vet rate.....
