stay positive
I want to pull her out of there and take her to another hospital, but I'm trying to be patient at least until they get the blood results back. I also don't want her to have to go through a third IV stick.
I understand your frustration and your pain. Two days after I adopted my puppy boxer at six weeks she was not eating and vomiting and very lethargic. She spent an entire week back and forth between my vet during the day and the hospital for the nights and weekend. It was very hard not to see her and to wait for answers. She was finally diasgnosed with camplobacteriosis (sp?)...also known as "campy". She only had a 50/50 chance because she was only 6 weeks old. Campy can have similar symptoms as parvo so make sure your dog is tested for both if the docter suspects parvo. I am not sure about the green stuff though. I think your dog is older and has already developed more so that may help. I know it is hard to think about your puppy getting another iv stick but that is probably what your puppy needs to keep it getting nutrition and liquids. When my puppy finally came home she had shave markings on all four legs due to all of the iv's she received. It is essential though I am sure especially when they are not eating and drinking. Stay positive and I am sure that your puppy will be ok.
