Rolen almost got hurt, too

How is Daisy doing? I just caught this thread and am so sorry to hear about your baby. Rolen, Sammy & I are praying for her as well as all of the other BW members.
Kichlo is so right. Our babies can get into anything in a matter of seconds! I was sitting on the couch on Wednesday night when a loud crash came from the end table. I looked over and immediately realized that the lamp was missing from the table. I chuckled thinking "Oh goodness Rolen just broke DH's lamp", but as soon as I got up to check the lamp my heart dropped to my feet. Rolen had somehow gotten the cord of the lamp wound all the way around his neck. If we hadn't been home or even just not been in the room with him, then he would have died. My poor baby was so freaked out, as were his daddy and I.

Good grief! I go out for one afternoon and look what I miss?! Kichlo, I am so glad to hear that Daisy is doing better! Thank goodness you came home at lunch! My 11 week old Colby loves to get into things, too, so I'm always watching him like a hawk. My fiance thinks I'm crazy and overprotective, especially after just losing Cadence to cancer, but I don't care! I certainly don't want anything bad happening to him! And I, too, would post here with any type of warning or question that I have. This is the best place I've ever found, for everything. Thank goodness for our wonderful moderators, too!
