My new pink dog and carpet!

I knew they were being too quiet but i thought worst case scenario they were eating my paperbacks again(they have sat on the bookshelf for almost a year untouched and are suddenly worth LOTS of "time outs" and NO'S!!) Oh how i was wrong! I came out of the bathroom to see Sasha looking 'bloody' as she could be...along with what looked like tons of blood all over the carpet....She is at this time clutching 'something in her paws and covering it with her mouth hoping i will not take it...turns out it was a liquid RED uniball pen!! Hoping for the best.....i sent them upstairs to get in the crate so i could start the TWO hour process to clean up....and of course ...the ink is up the stairs and ALL over the living room and kitchen as well. Needless to say i was late to work and have pink carpet EVERYWHERE!! Simple Solution worked pretty well(it says it gets out red wine stains...so i figured...what the heck...give it a try!) Sasha's paws and cheeks are also a lovely shade of pink now(she had 3 cleanings)!!
Hubby is mad and giving them the silent treatment....I am off to buy peroxide and dawn liquid detergent....that's the remedy i am trying!!

I've got a remedy

Try "Spot Shot". You can get it at Wal-Mart. This stuff works great and I can get permanent marker off of almost anything. Good luck.

Rotten puppies... I caught Willis with a green pen the other day, and nearly had a grinch for Christmas... What is it about pens/ink/paint. Do they know how much mess it makes? Do they think it's time that they get a 2 hr bath? What's the appeal???? Good luck getting rid of your pink carpet! Maybe it would just be easier to dye the rest of the dog pink? :LOL:

Add to pens/ink/dyes, the stain caused by the colouring in fizzy drinks. Especially raspberry, pineapple and orange which stain our (thank goodness) multi striped carpet from when Cinda was a year old. Around this time she ate my Bible (rice paper) Concordance and Bible dictionary. Which must have given her heaps of wisdom, for that was the end of chewing anything else.
But it's Zak who is teaching us puppy capers. He's doing things with his sharp little teeth that we've never come across before. Must read up on puppy matters and how to train/discipline the little beastie.

A little blush, a little lipstick, and a manicure ;) Now she's ready for the New Year's Eve party with a girly girl modern look :LOL:

Try rubbing alcohol! It removes permanent marker. It may smell for minute, but quickly evaporates. Good luck. :D
