Boxer Pal
Hello everyone, I just went to visit my new baby today. He is my first boxer but definetely not my first dog, he will join two sisters (a boston terrier and a toy poodle/terrier mix). I am so excited to bring him home and picked out a name as soon as I saw him. My question is: Do you think he will get along okay with my two spayed females? They are much smaller dogs obviously and my boston terrier had previously lived with a male American Staffordshire Terrier whom she got along with MUCH better then she does the poodle mix. I don't know if it was a male thing then or a dominance thing because she ruled the roost. I don't want any fights going on and I'm still working out all the rivalry with the two dogs I have. The poodle is still pretty new to the family also.

I only have one dog, Asia, so I can't answer your question about if they will get along together, but I'd say they will? :) Others will have more advice to offer you!

Welcome to Boxerworld :)

My female boxer plays daily with my brother's pekignese (spelling?) and I don't think Roxy realizes that she is so much bigger. She plays really well with him, as she will get low on his level and just pushes him with her head, she doesn't bite. Also, my older boy, Ruckus used to be around a llhapso apso (spelling again?) and there were never any problems there, either. Well, good luck anyway. By the way, what is the name you picked out?

Hi Chase momma

I am in the waiting boat with you :( I haven't even seen my little guy yet, but my husband has. This is our first 4 legged pet though, we do have a Beta fish named Purple Haze. Anyway, I hope all of your "kids" get along together and your not alone in the waiting.:)
