OH MY GOSH!!!

WOW DAN!! I was on edge as I read your post! I can hardly believe what happened! Thank God you are safe. I am so impressed with Maggie & Susie. There is no doubt that they saved you from what could have been a terrible outcome. They sensed your fear for sure and their instint kicked right in. Good for you for going along with Maggie & Susie's reaction even though you were shocked by it. Hope those damn brats learned their lesson! Give your brave girls a hug from me and Scarlet.

I am so GLAD the three of you are okay! What brave girls you have, Mr. Dan. Thinks really do happen for a reason and this seals it--you were meant to have both Maggie and Susie Q! :) I'm so proud of all of you. Perhaps this will teach those kids to think twice before trying to bully someone. I know how intimidating kids can be and it's not a fun thing to go through.

Hugs to Maggie and Susie Q!!!! Again, I'm so glad all of you are okay!

Hugs--

I am so glad you are all safe!! Two thumbs up for the girls. Boxers seems to have a very keen sense about them, one of the many traits we all love. You should be so very proud of them...they adore you Dan. Give them lots of praise from all of us too :D

Way to go girls!!!

Dan,
Good thing that you had both girls. And it sounds like Susie Q was very protective of you! it is amazing how fast she bonded with you! If I were you I would rewrite your story and send it to the rescue group that you adopted Susie Q from! I am sure that they would love to post it in the SUCCESS STORIES!!!

Kisses to the heros of the day Maggie and Susie for keeping our Dan safe and sound!

Dan, I'm so glad to hear everything turned out okay. Well, you already knew you had a couple of Godsends there, and they just proved it. But then, I know they feel the same way about you....you are their Godsend.

Big hugs and tummy tickles to those special girls!

Dan I'm so glad you are alright and Maggie and Susie knew what to do. I can imagine how scared you were, I was almost shaking as I was reading your story and as I type I have tears in my eyes.

I'm glad everything turned out so well. Give Maggie and Susie extra hugs and kisses. They truly are great dogs.

Horray for the girls and for you too of course. It doesn't suprize me, boxers seem to have an uncanny ability to "read" a bad situation and respond appropraitely. It was just another example of some their wonderful qualities - wiggly when its time for wiggles, tough and brave when its time to be tough and brave.

Dan, so so sorry to hear of your experience. However, what two great protectors you have.
I live in a tiny viliage surrounded by countryside but even so we are plagued by gangs of tenagers who think it's cool to be rude & aggressive. It's so intimedating but since having Monty I feel much safer when out late at night. I find they move to the side when they see him approaching.
I recently put a thread on the training site,(thanks for your reply), about Monty's reluctance to let any animal near to me. I think hearing your experience I will stick with my protector and not try to change him. He is friendly when it counts and for now I'll leave it to him to decide what or who is a threat to me.
Take care and try not to let this get to you much, hopefully it's just a one off situation )
