my girl is obsessed...

Lately my female boxer (lexi) has come up with a new obsession... she likes to lick my male boxer's (pepsi) sheath. Pepsi was neutered about 4 months ago, and this just started recently. Any thoughts... is this normal? Other than constantly yelling at her how can we stop this?

IMO, instead of yelling at her and drawing attention to the negative behavior, I would be more inclined to distract her with something else (toy, doing tricks, etc.). I think it's similar to raising children...the more you focus on the negative...the more they tend to do it.

I agree; just re-direct her to a favorite toy. That works for me with Sally & Sam.
