I found out that my first pet and best friend is now waiting at the rainbowbridge. she was a perfect, big ole' St. Bernard :) Her name was LADY LEXUS MERCEDEZ MCCALL, we named her that b/c my mom wanted a lexus and my dad and i went out looking at cars and came home with the papers saying we bought a st. bernard. :) we got her in 1990 and she passed this past october. i didn't get to see her before she passed, we had to give her to the st bernard rescue foundation in oct of 2002. my dad had lost his job and my parents couldn't afford their house and moved into a very small apartment. i was getting married and my husband and i did not yet have a place to live, so it took me 4 months and 3 different homes till i found one that worked for her and me. the rescue group was great with working for me, and i had a friend who let her stay at their house while i was trying to find a permant home. she did great at her new home (she now had 3 boys and a mom adn dad to tak care of) she was very loved by them as well as by us and just died of old age, they said in her sleep even so she never felt a thing. i just wish i could have seen her before she let. part of the agreement made was that i could not take her back once i got a home-now looking back i wish i would have done more research and i could have possibly put her in a foster home until my husband and i found a place to live. but either way she passed on being very loved and i am very thankful for that.
i wanted to put a picture on here of her, i am putting it on my website, but it has not been opened yet. thanks for reading, and i was wondering if anyone had those pet stones?? and knew of a good place to get them, things like that?

Sorry to hear about Lady Lexus passing. Do you mean the pet memorials, like a granite stone . If so, I bought a lovely stone for my Dad's chihuahua that passed in 01', I think the place was called Rex Memorials.

So sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our Banshee just last week and know all to well what you are going through. I'm sure they are having a ball together at the bridge while they wait for us.

God bless,

Kevin and Kristen
