Pam..You are going through such a hard time right now..I know how you feel believe me, but this time will pass., I promise..
When I lost my darling old girl Poppy, at the age of over 13 years, I thought my world had come to an end..I couldn't eat sleep, or do anything, except just to sit and cry,and hold her blanket close to me so I could still 'feel' her, and smell her..The pain I felt was real, tangible, and almost unbearable..But in time, you will realise that you were blessed and privileged to have Ginty to share your life, just as she was fortunate enough to have you as her mum, and the love you shared has not suddenly disappeared because she is no longer present in a 'physical' form..It's still there, and always will be, nothing, not even death can take that away from you....
If you think you heard her barking in the night, it's her way of saying 'I'm here mum, I'm fine, and I love you'..She hasn't left you, rather, she has become your own special guardian angel..Still now, I swear I can sense My Poppy Boxer, and I'm sure Millie has seen her a few times too!..
Sweetie I wish I could reach out and give you a big hug tonight, and wipe away your tears, we all do here, but can't..But please know we are all here for you and are sending you all our love.
