I'm so sorry, I know how you feel as our older dog Tuppence is coming to the end of her life with lots of problems cropping up on a daily basis. We have a vet appointment tomorrow to discuss the possibility of letting her go without pain and with some dignity. I can't even type this without getting tearful. Me and dh got her before we had children so she has been like our eldest child. She's been through so much in her life & come through it that we almost assumed she was immortal.
My thoughts are with you at this sad time.
God bless Cooper x

Terrible, I feel for you and know what you are going through. I know how it is about the post in the rainbow bridge forum as well, I have not been able to write one for my Tossie yet. Take care and know that he is in a much better place full of life with no pain and cured of the tumor. Run free sweet Cooper and have fun playing with all the boxers there.

I'm so sorry to hear about Cooper- *tears* I think the pet loss group is a great idea- I wish I had done something like that when I had lost my first baby. It's a terrible thing to have to go thru. stay strong.

Godspeed sweet Cooper... angelicon

I, too, am so sorry for your loss. Even though we know it's the right thing, it still hurts like crazy. My husband and I helped Scarlett to the bridge nearly 4 years ago, and I still feel that pain sometimes. And there's not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

Please take comfort in knowing that Cooper is now free from pain, and having a ball with all the beloved furkids who went before him. I'm sure my Scarlett is there to help show him the ropes.

I am so sorry about Cooper but from all the post I have read on here be assured he has lots of boxer friends at Rainbow Bridge. He had a wonderful life and lots of love and that should bring you great comfort. My Rocky's days are numbered but because of all of you I know I can make it to..yes I cry alot and my heart breaks into...but knowing everyone here know that feeling gives me a great deal of comfort. I found a poem and it made me cry but made me feel better to read about taking them to Rainbow Bridge...it's under my post quote My 7 yr old has cancer...really sums up what I feel a boxer would really want to say to us...read it when you are up to it....You will remain in my thoughts and prayers but having a boxer's love is worth every bit I pain I am feeling...Rocky & Mom
