I asked him the same thing. You can see in some of the pictures that Woody is getting ready to walk away. The photographer was using props to get them to perk up their ears and look at the camera. DH said that when she put down a toy, Woody would get up to go get it.
The first thing that I noticed about the puppy in the pictures is that her tags were not hanging down in the front. I really did not think much about it afterwards. I just figured it got twisted. Truth be told, she is on a lead which was brushed out of the pictures as was DH's hand.
I am still very impressed with the pictures. We had tried to go to one of those picture deals in the van years ago and the photos were horrid. The photographer did not take any time posing and would not wait for the dogs to settle down. There was a huge line outside and the more people they got thru the more money they made. In my Dal's picture there is a garland hanging on the wall. The idea was to have the dog centered. The picture that we got was of one side of the garland hanging directly above her head. It looks like it is growing out of her head. My Shepherd looks terrified in hers and is walking off the platform. We tried to fight to get our money back. We eventually won but we are banned from ever using them again. No big loss.
At the professional photographer my husband said she was very patient with the dogs and she took almost eighty pictures. What you guys see are the best ones. I could not be happier.
Some day I would like to go to Amanda Jones but I do not know what she costs. I understand it is very expensive for her time. Her photos are not posed, the are all natural poses. For those who are not familiar she has a website. I do not know what it is offhand but I bet if you type in Amanda Jones photography it will pop up. There is a portfolio to view. She is also featured in many dog magazines like Bark. There is also a schedule of what cities she is coming too.
Again, thanks for all your sweet comments. It has been a wonderful Christmas. I feel truly Blessed.
