my cara is in heaven

hi everyone i am a new member of this
great forum.my beloved boxer cara passed
away on jan 15th. we had her for 10 great
years.she was a female brindle and just about
the best freind you could ever ask for. i truly
miss my cara and will be getting another boxer
in the very near future,though she won't take
the place of cara,she will have the best home
and all the love we can give. oh the stories i
can tell you,but i'm sure you all know how
kookie boxers can be. that's all for now

Martin, I can understand your pain. I lost my 8 yr old girl on 12/26. I too am getting a puppy (due date for birth is 2 wks!!) and I know that he/she will never replace my Blizzy but I cannot fathom a home without a Boxer in it.

So sorry for the loss of your baby. It's so hard when that day finally comes.

I lost the love of my life (Shadow: 11 1/2 yr old boxer) in August. It was the most difficult thing I have ever done.

Getting a new baby to love does fill that void that is missing. We got Sampson around Halloween of last year. He's a joy to have around - not Shadow - but he's taken a special place in my heart that I didn't think I could ever fill again.

Boxers are wonderful, loving animals. lovicon I think I will always have one until I take my last breath!

In time, your pain will be replaced with happy memories of your little sweetie...it takes a while...but it will come!

Very sorry to hear about your Cara, as we lost our 6 1/2 year old Tazz last Thursday. Know that they are running free together at the bridge & meeting new friends. Godspeed sweet Cara.
