all this makes me giggle. After reading these posts and just picturing in my mind all the boxers and how they get into "trouble" when left alone. Sheba is my first boxer and I have been tearing my hair out that I can not even leave the room for a few minutes to where she can not find me. She will get on counters and even poop on floor (she did this in my van also) but now I see that it may be just the breed that gets into stuff when left alone. I will be crating her whenever I leave and she is tethered to me when I am home (housebreaking).

My first female, Juno, had separation anxiety bad. She would get so ticked off she would destroy all sorts of stuff. She was used to going with me to work everyday, so when I would leave her home she would get mad. She chewed up two forty pound bags of birdseed, 3 potted trees/plants, and a large puzzle from a box. I came home to see dirt, birdseed, and puzzle pieces all over the living room. It was not fun.

My female, Athena, I have now would wreck stuff too, but she has just started to become a really good dog. (she is now a bit over two years old) She hasn't destroyed anything lately.

My male, Apollo, you could leave him all day with food 3 feet from him, or the trash and he would never touch it. In fact, he is usually in about the same place as he was when you left him.
