I was taking Riley for a walk this evening and she did the cutest thing! I live right next to a big hospital that has a heli-pad. We were walking by the hospital and one of the helicopters was taking off. The LOUD noise scared Riley and she jumped up on me with this scared look in her eyes - like "Mommy, help me!" I heled her on me and covered her ears for the minute or two it took for the helicopter to take off. After that we continued our walk happily..she is just tooooo cute!

they are so cute when they hear something loud for the first time aren't they?

i remember next door was getting their pool put in and they had the backhoe going and lots of very loud noises - brandy was scared wittless and stuck to me like glue it didn't matter what i did to show her that it was ok she still stay close to me.

tigger is the same but a little gamer if brandy is going to look he will too but only as far as the back door - won't go outside

If she is still a puppy, give her a few months. Chances are she'll be barking menacingly at the big bad helicopter.

Young Boxers may be quite timid. As they get older, they usually become fearless.
