I have a question/problem that I hope someone can help with. Yesterday I was making the bed and our 14 mon. old Spenser was lying next to the bed happily chewing away on one of his toys. Well, I bent over to tuck in a corner at the same time that Spense decided to throw his toy up, thereby throwing back his head and, you guessed it, we collided. I was in some serious pain as he hit my brow bone and now I have a nice black eye. When it happen I let out a little yell and my fiance came running to find out what happened. We got some ice and I was fine, but Spense was beside himself. We reassured him that he was a good dog, gave him treats and love, but he moped around the house like he was in trouble. We, of course didn't yell at him or anything as this was not the result of him being too rough (which he is sometimes want to do, but hey..he's a boxer), it was just an accident. I was sure that Spense would get over feeling bad by today, but he's still walking around like he's in trouble, with this sad little look on his face. We have been showering him with kisses and pets and (of course) treats, but I think that he still feels bad for hurting me. Will he get over this on his own or is there something we can do? Please help, I don't like my baby so sad!
