I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Stella. I can truly empathize with what you are going through - even though our furbaby was terminally ill, I felt enormous guilt when we helped her cross over. Only pet owners who "don't care' never experience the pangs of guilt. I know that it is difficult, but try to focus on the positive. You were stellar owners and Stella was well loved. No dog can ever repalce Stella, but when you are ready, you can make a big difference in another pet's life. Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time ~ Cathy

This is just so sad :( When things happen like this (freak accidents) the very first thing we want to do is blame ourselves, I know, because of the situation with my little cat of 14years, that you are not to blame. When we do things that result in the death of our babies we do take that to heart if we are caring pet owners. Keep in mind that things happen, and as awful as this is, it was just mean't for Stella to be here that short time. She had a purpose for being here no matter how short. Your post made me cry. My boxer baby is named stella too. She used to do the same thing- magically get out of her cage. We used to call her Houdini. I am terrible soory for your loss. How horrible. Just remember- you were onlt trying to keep her safe and it is not your fault. It could have happened to anyone, especially us too- We have also secured her cage with stronger ties. I am soo sorry for your loss and you will see her again on the other side.
