I am so sorry for the loss of your baby. I lost my boy (Max) over a year ago. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Run free baby girl.

I lost my sweet baby in December and I still cry, but it has gotten easier as time goes on. I feel for your loss...it is hard.

I'm really sorry to hear about Brandy. Nothing I can say will make it better but I hope it gives you comfort to know that many of us are thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

I too am very sorry to hear of you and your family's loss. We lost our mixed breed dog that we had had for 13 years in May and it was one of the hardest things that we have gone through as a family. Just know that your Brandy is happy and healthy now and that she will always be with you!

Sorry about your loss

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. We lost our Max in March to cancer, he too was only seven. He had an undetected tumor and was bleeding out when we took him in. We had him in the week prior and they found fluid in his lungs and he was extremely anemic. We had to let him go that night and it was awful. We have a young Boston Terrier pup and she walked around crying for weeks. We were all such a mess. I have an 8 year old and 12 year old, we all fell apart, my husband was with him to the end. But time does heal and we quickly found a Boxer pup to add to our family. He has been the best medicine and keeps us busy and has brought laughter back into our home. We will always love and miss dear old Max, but life was not the same without a Boxer in our home.

Your kids are right about keeping busy, it helps. My kids avoided being home because it was easier. A great picture book that we all found very comforting was "Dog Heaven" by Cynthia Rylant. Try to get a copy, you may find comfort in it too! Hang in there!

I understand your pain!!

If anyone understands it would be me. You see, I too just lost my precious Baby Girl, Brandy! She too was only 7 years old and she too passed away the exact same way! My family had no idea she had anything wrong with her though. She was just at the vet two days prior and was in "perfect" health! Ha, so wrong! iT HAS BEEN ALMOST 4 MONTHS and I will say not a day goes by that I do not think of her, but with time the pain will ease, not go away, but ease! You and your family our in my prayers! Take care...
