Wanda - I have been following our posts since Jan when I lost Heidi. I am so glad to hear you are getting a new pup. Please know how happy we are for you. And I so agree with you - Rocky has been an inspiration to all of us who have had Boxers steal their hearts. It makes me smile to read your posts and know we are all here for each other.

Hey Girls,

I tried to post on Friday but never showed up. Wanda I am so excited for you....Rocky & I need details....female, male, color, age and most important name. I envy you and all that puppy breath...lol I read an article about dogs that said boxer fight cancer better than other breeds...boy I am a believer. We have had some long hard nights lately. Rocky wakes up with a little whimmpering cry and my heart break. I talk to him and then he decides that he will lay on my chest so he is snoring and I am just laying there rubbing his head. I keep thinking the tumor can't get much larger but it does. He get around ok but tires easily. He's my fighter....I think of you guys and wish I could post more but I know we have all your positive vibes.....Rocky & Mom

Not to hijack but Wanda is getting a male pup who I belive she decided to call Seven..who is a beautiful dark brindle. He is 8 wks old.

About the name she said the reason being "It will be 7 months since I said goodbye to Kiddo and I pick him up one the 7th of Oct. I'm thinking of the name Lucky Seven with a call name of Seven........"

No pictures of him yet. She got him yesterday afternoon. Hasn't posted anything since...ahhh!! Can't wait to hear all about Seven!

Now you keep up that valant fight my handsome boy Rocky! You are such a strong spirit. Kisses on that perfect face and hugs of support to your Momma.

Much love to you..Donna

glad to hear Rocky is still fighting hard and you are hanging in there. I have kept up with your thread, but haven't posted very much...but I must tell you that you and Rocky are an inspiration story. My Josi has hit a rough patch in the road over the past six months and reading your posts give us belief too that boxers are the strongest fighters out of all the doggy breeds. I would love to read that article you read if you found it on the internet. Anyhow, take care of yourself and Rocky and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you both.

So happy to hear you and Rocky are still fighting the fight. You guys are true inspirations. My Chancey had a fast growing tumor aspirated Sat. The results show cells indicative of cancer. The earliest they could schedule to have it removed is on the 26th. So here we go again....On the up side,Chancey and Seven have bonded very well and literally bounce off walls and furniture when playing in the evenings, then we all snuggle up together for bedtime. You are always in our thoughts. Hugs from us all.
