Thanks all for your words of comfort. We layed on the couch last night and Rocky wanted so bad to go to bed so I finally layed and extra blanket on bed just in case he threw up again and we headed to bed....he loves going into my bed...I know he doesn't feel great so off to bed we go (very early) he got up a couple of times and I gave him a few crackers and back to bed. He ate his oatmeal this am and layed back down. He was panting to some degree when I left but he loves laying in the sun by the sliding door so I put his bed there so maybe he was getting too warm. The tumor is getting so much larger that it makes me so sad to even look at it...knowing the cancer is taking over his body. I really think Kiddo and Rocky have their vibes going back and forth...here's to a better day for Rocky & Kiddo.......Vicky

Hey Vicky, I'm sorry I've been such a stranger lately... lots going on here. I just wanted to let you know I'm still here and you still have my thoughts and prayers!

I know it's hard watching the tumor get bigger, but hang in there....stay strong. I hope you guys have a good weekend together, and I'm glad Rocky loved the snow!! :)

Hey Wanda...Hope you and Kiddo are doing ok. I am so tired...I haven't been able to sleep much between waking up and worrying about Rocky's breathing or panting...He get up any where from 2-5 times a night and I am totally exhausted from that plus picking up a 75 lb dog to put him back in bed...I told one of the girls at work it felt like when I had a new baby but that I was just too old to be doing it now...lol But he's worth it ...last night he had his big head laying on my chest and I couldn't move or wouldn't move him knowing he will not be there someday....Thanks for checking on us...I think of you all the time...Take care...Rocky & Mom

Hey Vicky!

I know you must be tired... but that's what we "mom's" do, we take care of our babies, and you are doing a FANTASTIC job taking care of Rocky. I know that feeling of them laying on top of you and you don't want to move! There were times with Ginger, she'd be laying on my lap, and you couldn't get me to move for anything in the world! It is precious time you share with Rocky! I know you enjoy those moments with him!

I just wanted to tell you to hang in there and stay strong. We're all with you, and feel your pain. I wish we could help more, words just don't seem to be enough. But you have all the love and support in the world here. Lean on us when you need to !

Happy birthday Rocky!Hey Vicky I can sypmathize with the being tired. I think its a combination of the strees of it all and having to get up every 2 hours. I've had the 2 hour pee sessions since Dec...its gotten to the point I wake up before Kiddo and make her go out since I won't be able to go to sleep until she does. I have made a bed for Kid next to mine so I can reach down and touch her....I knew if I started picking her up to put in bed with us it would be the end of my back. I think she's more comfortable in her own bed since she can stretch out any which way she wants without obstacles...of course Chancey has decided to keep my chest warm by using me as a pillow now.Hang in there gal.

Thanks girls...we love you all. Rocky & I went to bed last night at 7:00pm I was so tired but we were up and down 5 times but still feel better today. Rocky was sleeping in the sun when I left thie morning. The weather here is fantastic...like in the 70's. This is normally my favorite time of year. I love seeing everything come back to life...trees with leaves, flowers and green grass but of course it doesn't feel the same just knowing what I know but well not think about that today because.....IT'S ROCKY'S BIRTHDAY!!

He really loves McDonalds double cheeseburger plain so Mom will pick up cheeseburgers for his birthday and Frosty Paws. He doesn't like toys. I have never owned a dog that likes toy...even though I have them laying around they are never touched...lol

Thanks for all the sweet post and I hope Kiddo is celebrating Rocky's birthday and feeling her best....Rocky & Mom
