Vicky, I haven't figured out the avatars yet (the pics next to your name), but I haven't spent much time trying to figure it out either. It is in the rules, or somewhere... I think?? If you go to the computer help forum, they can help you there. I know you have to shrink the picture down to an "acceptable" size, and wait for approval... that's about all I know. Sorry I'm not much help there!

Oh, I am so very sorry for you and your baby. I know you must be experiencing so much pain right now and only those who have lost know exactly how you feel. I want to cry too this is so sad. God bless and may you enjoy every minute you have with Rocky. He is so gorgeous. This is so unfair. These beautiful creatures are way too young to die. I wish you my very best. So sorry to hear about your sad news. I lost my 6.5 year old two months ago to cancer. It was one of the hardest things I have ever been through. My heart goes out to you and your family at this time. Enjoy ever moment you can. You will be in my thoughts.

I did it...The picture
Thanks Donna for telling me how and Melanie for the compliments...Have you ever seen a boxer that wasn't gorgeous in their own way? Last night when I was going to bed I Rocky followed me and I said come here and mommy will put you in the bed. He stopped, looked at me and leap up to get on the bed (my bed is high too) like I can do this myself...scared me to death. I am so afraid he will break that leg. He was already spoiled but he is sooooooooooo spoiled after only a week of doing what he wants and eating what he want. I have the camera sitting and have taken alot of new pictures and he just looks at me like I have lost my mind. I am feeling better...I don't have the rip your heart out feeling all the time (but I almost feel guilty that I don't). My husband is in denial..he desn't want to discuss it at all. Men think they are so brave.....Anyways prayer to all who need them and thanks for your continued support.........Rocky's Mom

This is definitely a super duper support group to be a part of. My 10 year Boxer girl,Kiddo,is living with lymphoma and mast cell tumors. Shes on meds to slow things down but the vet said the lymphoma will take her before the mct so we're living and loving one day at a time. I took my 3 year old Boxer girl,Chancey, in this morning after finding a golf ball sized growth under her jaw. The in house lab tests came back inconclusive for cancer so they must be sent out. She is on antibiotics now since one reading did indicate an infection. Paws crossed thats ALL it is. You have received some wonderful advice here from some of the best people I could ever hope to meet. Keep your chin up. Like you I find myself crying at the worst times. This morning I had a good talking to myself and convinced myself all thsi crying isn't doing anyone any good so I've relegated a "crying time" for myself after everyone has played and been petted and are asleep-then its "mt" time to sit and think and let the tears flow......but of course,when reading someone elses experiences the tears just won't listen to reason-oh well.....that is life-the good,bad and ugly of it.

Prayers for Kiddo & Chancey
Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I went home for lunch and Rocky is really limping on that bad leg...I try not to get emotional like you but on the way back to work my eyes filled with tears...some at work understand and other (not dog lovers don't). One guy said well just get another dog....no wonder they say not to trust anyone that doesn't love dogs...
Rocky was the one that filled my empty nest sydrome when our son went off to college. I really don't think I can live without another boxer but it will take some time before I make that move...but what's a home without a boxer. I see alot of people on here have at least 2...I just wonder where anyone sits or lays at these houses... Rocky is the biggest couch potato in the world...Here's hoping for good news on Chancey....God Bless all our precious boxer and their owner...Rocky's Mom

I've lost dogs in the past. Some hurt more than others, some in different ways then others. Just the thought of losing either of my boxer kids is almost too much to take. I know the day will come, and I don't know how I will ever deal with it.
For the record, I am a man and I could never be "brave" in the face of this kind of situation.
