Boxer Pal
I've been reading a few of the postings on "mucousy" poop.
Penny has been having this problem since I switched from homecooking to raw about a month ago.
I've added pumpkin to her food and stopped all dairy...yogurt and cheese treats etc. and she still seems to have runny mucousy "movements" and when she seems done she surprises me and stops for a watery sort of poop to sum things up. Other than that she seems fine. Happy, active and silly!
Should I be concerned? I rescued her 6 months ago and she was eating a VERY bad kibble  when she came to me. Could she be detoxifing now that I've switched to raw?...she didn't show any signs of detox when she was put on homecooked. (I kinda thought that was odd)
Thanx for any input in this matter
