I think the rocks answer makes sense, but I've heard that too much rawhide in treats/chews can lodge in their stomach and intestines. Sounds gross.

I think it's got to be either rocks or panties...rocks make sense and Gus steals my panties and hides them all the time (I don't think he's actually eaten any though...I hope!).

The reason I knew the answer was from watching animal planet. They actually had a show about the strangest things ever removed from dogs' stomachs. The 2nd strangest was a padlock and the winner was a pair of women's underwear...but not just any pair. It was a brand of underwear that its owner didn't wear! I guess the dog had been raiding someone's clothes line! It had been a while, so I didn't know if our lovely undies were still at the top of the list!

I guess I'm lucky - so far Samson only likes to sleep on top of the dirty clothes - I'd be so embarassed to have to get that surgically removed from his stomach! Who knew panties could be so dangerous?

Just this morning he stole some out of the bathroom...I found them in his crate! Silly babies...
